24 Hour Telephone Booking
24 hour automated telephone booking system available. To book, cancel or check an appointment please call 01784 424500 or 01784 420700 and select option 0.
To speak to reception when the surgery is open then choose option 1.
Consultations are 10 minutes long so please try and discuss only one problem.
You can also book your appointment online via the "Online Services" tab.
The surgery offers pre-booked appointments and same day telephone and emergency duty doctor appointments. We also offer on the day face-to-face consultations via our minor illness Nurse Practitioners.
Seeing a Doctor
In line with government requirements all our patients have a named GP who is in overall charge of their care. You can find out your own GP by looking on the right hand side of your prescription, or ask at reception who can easily look this up for you.
There are some services such as joint injections, coils, or particular conditions where a specific GP is most appropriate, and the receptionists can help guide you if needed.
Please do not ask the GP or Nurse practitioner to see/speak about anyone else other than for whom the appointment has been booked for.
Seeing a Practice Nurse
The nurses are available Monday to Friday. To find out more regarding the other services they offer see our Clinics & Services page.
Late evening appointments are offered on a Monday and Wednesday. For late pm appointments you will be required to press the doorbell to gain access to the surgery.
Alternate Saturday 08:00 to 11:00 (by appointment only and not for walk in patients).
Should you required a Chaperone to be present at a consultation or procedure, please alert reception staff at the time of booking your appointment (if possible) who can arrange for an appropriate professional member of staff to be available. A joint appointment will be booked. You can also request a Chaperone during you appointment however if one is not available then your appointment may need to be rescheduled to ensure a Chaperone is available. If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else. You can use the link on our home page to cancel an appointment or the link that is received at the time of the booking and within the appointment reminder SMS message.
