"I was raised in a small
North Yorkshire Seaside town and educated nearby at the
Friends School, Great Ayton and at St Mary's Hospital
Medical School, London, graduating in 1980. I was
trained for general medical practice at Northwick Park
and the Oxford Training Group Hospitals and GP surgeries
in Edgeware and Chalfont-St- Peter/Gerrards Cross. I
joined Studholme in April 1986. My clinical interests
include dermatology as applied to general practice,
family planning and medical education. Remembering
patients are people and that clinical medicine seems to
work best when there is shared responsibility and
respect between doctor and patient are the cornerstones
of my approach to practising as a GP."
